The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) held its’ first annual A/E/C art exhibition and sale on Saturday, August 27th at the Orlando Museum of Art. More than 200 A/E/C professionals attended the event which showcased the artwork of 39 artists – of which Chad Byerly and Monte Olinger, Principals at Baker Barrios Architects, took home Best-In-Show awards in the photography and mixed-media categories.
The judges panel included City of Orlando Commissioner, Patty Sheehan; President of Nemours Children’s Hospital, Dana Bledsoe; Principal at Baker Barrios Architects and Chairman of the City of Orlando’s Arts District, Shanon Larimer; Director of Commercial Development at Tavistock Development Company, John Pottinger; Valencia College Vice President of Facilities, Dr. Allen Bottorff; and architect, Gary Hoffman.
More than $3,500 was raised that evening with proceeds benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Central and Northern Florida.
