Baker Barrios’ Branding and Communications studio, FUSION, has been selected by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts as the recipient of two awards of distinction in the 21st Annual Communicator Awards. The recognition in the corporate branding category highlights the annual investment reports for the firm and its client, United Arts of Central Florida – a non-profit arts advocacy group that has invested more than $131-Million in local cultural organizations.
“At Baker Barrios we never begin a project with aspirations of winning an award. Our primary goal is always to create strategies and executions that deliver the highest return possible for our clients,” said Principal, Shanon Larimer. “When our work is awarded for excellence within that context, the recognition is all the more meaningful. We are honored and humbled to serve some amazing organizations and thrilled to be recognized for the work we do.”
With over 6,000 entries received from across the U.S. and around the world, the Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring the creative excellence for communications professionals.
“We are both excited and amazed by the quality of work received for the 20th Annual Communicator Awards. This year’s class of entries is a true reflection of the progressive and innovative nature of marketing and communications,” noted Linda Day, executive director of the Academy Interactive and Visual Arts. She added, “On behalf of the entire Academy I want to applaud Baker Barrios for their dedication to perfecting their craft as they continue to push the envelope of creativity.”
