At Baker Barrios, we are always excited to support projects that benefit our associates, their families and immediate communities, which is why we are thrilled to announce one of our most recent projects – the CityArts Factory – which will support and advance the arts in Orlando’s vibrant art and cultural scene.
The new CityArts Factory is a 20,000 square-foot mixed-use arts and cultural center featuring art galleries, meeting space and a coffee shop. The Baker Barrios team worked to maintain the historical and cultural elements of the site, formally the historic Rogers Kiene Building, and provided architecture and interior design services. Later this year, the building will also be home to a live-performance venue.
The CityArts Factory is located in the heart of Orlando’s Downtown Arts District—a dedicated nonprofit organization for advancing arts and economic development in the City of Orlando. The Arts District is made up of a series of cultural communities that represent the visual arts, literature, the performing arts and culture-related retail businesses.
The grand reopening of the CityArts Factory was held recently and covered by Orlando Weekly. Read this article to learn more about the project’s impact on “The City Beatiful’s” ever-expanding arts scene. To learn more about this project and Baker Barrios’ work in arts and entertainment.
