Chris Powers brings over three decades of invaluable experience to the realm of healthcare architecture and design. Currently serving as the Associate Principal and Regional Director of Healthcare at Baker Barrios Architects in Nashville, Tennessee, Chris spearheads the expansion of the healthcare practice and team across the firm’s four offices, while also focusing on growing the Nashville branch. With a Bachelor of Architecture from Mississippi State University and additional studies at Escola Tecnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona, Chris’ commitment to his craft is evident.
His extensive career includes serving as the senior director of design and construction for HCA Healthcare for 12 years, where he mentored and led teams of architects and designers on projects across 23 states. His multifaceted background has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of healthcare architecture, project management, and leadership, making him a trusted authority in the field.
