The Edge at Church Street is a study in Central Florida optimism — a tribute to what downtown Orlando could be. Baker Barrios completed the architectural, interior, and landscape designs for this ambitious tower, set to take center stage on the downtown skyline by the end of 2024.

Church Street is a piece of Orlando history nestled among the city’s bustling downtown neighborhood. The Edge at Church Street aims to honor all that came before it, reinventing its surroundings while paying respect to the ground-level relics that represent Orlando’s storied past. Once completed, the 32-story Edge at Church Street will house 228 hotel rooms, offer 3,000 sq ft of retail space, and help downtown Orlando charge toward a brighter future.
Progress often requires sacrifice. And while the centuries-old Church Street Station is being painstakingly preserved as this project advances, The Edge at Church Street will stand in the former footsteps of the Church Street Ballroom. But Baker Barrios went to great lengths to ensure that the historic ballroom would live on — working to incorporate elements of the building into the new structure.
Our north star for The Edge at Church Street was improving the everyday lives of the city’s creators, residents, and visitors. And every aspect of our work, from our interiors to our exterior striking design to our vibrant landscapes, was in service of this ultimate goal.
