Pulse Memorial Advisory Committee Design Workshop

Design is so much more than creating places. Design can inspire, comfort and honor – which is the ultimate goal of BBA’s Wayne Dunkelberger, together with Jay Hood of Catalyst Design Group, PC, in working with the Pulse Memorial Advisory Committee to create a design inspiration for the future memorial site. The committee, comprised of community members, survivors, and loved ones of the 49 people tragically killed during a mass shooting at the Pulse nightclub in 2016, provided feedback to Wayne and Jay this week which will shape the final memorial site.

It’s been Baker Barrios’ privilege to give our time to this memorial project and know the final iteration will honor those who were killed as well as the survivors. We hope it is a space that can provide comfort and connection, and ensure the 49 lives lost are long remembered.
